Roll 01 · The room · 5 frames

Five frames of the actual room. Nothing staged, nothing borrowed.

Every photograph on this page was taken inside the house at 3 Meeting House Lane. Pages hang from the ceiling, portraits crowd the walls frame to frame, and the light never climbs much above a candle. We have not touched them — only laid them out the way they deserve.

Roll 02 · The table · 6 dishes

Six dishes, six different places on the map.

The kitchen roams — pierogi from Poland, schnitzel from Bavaria, fried cheese from Bohemia, steaks from Britain, and house signatures in between. The point was never one national cuisine. Below is the house’s own published list; the live menu at thewitchez.co.uk is always the source of truth.

Contact-printed straight from the pass.

Real plates from the house, printed in sequence like a strip off the roll. Where a dish isn’t identified on the restaurant’s own listings, we leave it unnamed rather than invent a caption.

Also in the house

It was never only a restaurant.

ThewitchEZ started with designers choosing to work from a café instead of an office. The studio never left — it just started serving dinner.

Guests keep saying the same three things.

Recent feedback points at the atmosphere, the staff and the size of the plates. A night here is not a generic dinner out — and a website should make that obvious before anyone walks through the door.

AtmosphereThe theme and the room are a major part of the appeal.
ServiceStaff are named and praised again and again in recent reviews.
Fresh foodThe house stresses that everything is cooked fresh — it asks for a little patience.
